Given the variety of issues activists are organizing around right now, including defunding/abolishing the police, climate justice, indigenous sovereignty, abolishing ICE, and everything between and beyond, we created an Instagram series on the Midwest Academy Strategy Chart. This is a resource that we hope will be useful for both seasoned activists and anyone passionate about an issue but unsure of how to organize to improve the issue. It isn’t intended to be a comprehensive framework for solving every problem, but it provokes important discussions that can be vital to running a successful campaign.
The Midwest Academy is an organization which trains progressive activists in how to organize. This series is based off of their Strategy Chart for building a movement around specific demands. You can find both electronic and printable versions in our bio. We hope you find it useful. Happy organizing!
